What is Mapping Archives?

Mapping Archives is a project made in 2022 with the goal of mapping and clarifying access to various small press and publishing archives in the downtown Tkaronto area as well as online. Many young artists are unaware of smaller archival spaces and intimidated by larger more 'established' ones, and inconsistent access rules caused by the pandemic have only added to the obfuscation. Here I wanted to streamline some of the key aspects of local archival spaces in order to make this process easier and point people towards resources most helpful to their needs. 

This project was created for the OCADu Introduction to Publications class taught by Lillian Allen in Winter 2022.

Note: I am the sole researcher and illustrator/designer for this project, and own 100% of the materiel involved. It was made to be freely distributed, so please print and share as much as you desire.
